ST. ALPHONSA MEN’S FORUM
Engage and Empower Men in the Community
Saint Alphonsa Men’s Forum is a ministry of the Saint Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic Mission of Baltimore, established by the diocese of Chicago. As a Catholic group, the forum brings men together to embrace their God-given responsibilities and to understand their role as leaders in Christian families. Since its inception, the group has grown into a vibrant community of dedicated men volunteers of all ages from the parish of Syro-Malabar Catholic Church of Baltimore.
**VISION**
Saint Alphonsa Men’s Forum is a community devoted to fostering personal, spiritual, and educational growth in men, while inspiring them to model the Christian ideal in home and family life. Saint Joseph is our role model.
Our goal is to utilize the strength and unique talents of our members to:
· Encourage men to be active in our parish and community
· Uphold and defend Christian faith and values in the modern world
· Facilitate health and wellness activities
· Support the growth and understanding of our church
**MISSION**
Saint Alphonsa Men’s Forum seeks to create opportunities for all men to actively participate in the cultural and spiritual life of the church. We gather monthly to share ideas, fostering camaraderie and providing an informal support network. Our Rosary via phone unites families in Christian faith.
With inspiration from our Vicar, Bishop, and the Pope, we passionately engage in and support church activities. We are men of action, participating in initiatives like retreats, fundraisers, charity events, picnics, perunaal (feast day of our patron saint), Christmas programs, and more. From organizing Sunday Mass celebrations to cultural event coordination and church maintenance, we are dedicated to serving our parish.
We thank God for giving us this platform to meet, to pray, and to grow together in God’s love.
