St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Church : Feast of Dukarana – Holy Day of Obligation
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
We celebrate “dukhrana”, the feast of St. Thomas the Apostle, our Father in faith on Friday, July 3, 2020, a Holy day of obligation for Syro-Malabar Catholics. St. Thomas without any doubt, through his solemn proclamation of, “My Lord and My God”, acclaimed Jesus as God. St. Thomas through his missionary journey to India and eventual martyrdom showed his affection and love for us. Let us celebrate his feast day prayerfully.
Holy Qurbana will start promptly at 7:00 p.m. If you signed-up and coming to church, please ensure you always wear the mask. Upon dismissal of the Holy Qurbana, I humbly request you to leave the church premises and compound immediately. I urge you not to have any socialization after the Holy Qurbana.
