St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Church: Day of Pentecost
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
I hope the spiritual preparations for Pentecost Sunday are going well. Tomorrow, we will celebrate the great Solemnity of the Holy Pentecost with Holy Qurbana at 10am. After Holy Qurbana, we will also conclude our Vanakamasam prayer, on the last day, as we concrete ourselves to the Blessed Mother, who has been preparing us for the last 30 days, for this glorious feast so that we may be ever more docile to the Holy Spirit.
Thank you to all who participated with the parish for the “Vanakkamasam” prayer. I humbly ask each and everyone to join us for adoration at 9:30am, prior to Holy Qurbana. For those who would like to join, we will be consecrating ourselves together, at the end of the service. Otherwise, please make the consecration on your own.
The proper prayers for consecration will be distributed to everyone via Whatsapp.
